Love the character transformation, and as you both pointed out, its more than just a romance. His actions in the end were shady and almost cruel, but I understand that the author was trying to show his protectiveness over his sister. This one is definitely on my keeper shelf! 24th Jan, 2013 at 11:08am Reply Jennie Marts THanks for the recommendation! This sounds like a book I really need to add to my too-read list! Thanks for the great review. It was great reading a story that touched on some more serious issues as well as all the lighter topics too.
Amy: Both Hunter and Vere were struggling in life before meeting each other. However, I understood the need for it to move slowly and adored the fact that this book wasnt based on insta-love. Charlie, on the other hand, wasnt my favorite of characters. I just loved Hunter. Recommend It? Ana: Overall is was a good, quick read with great main characters and more depth than I expected and, for those reasons, Id say yes. She tortures him daily for ridiculous guy advice on how to snag her life-long crush. But he only wants to get back to work. Its really the only not so positive thing I have to say about the book.
